I purchased 2 sets of these bags not really knowing what to expect.
These have turned out to be a wonderful purchase. They are big enough to
hold large boxes of cereal and tall items. They also have a sewn-in corner panel on two opposite sides that you can stand 2 liter bottles; lg Qt juice jugs or even a gallon of milk in ! This keeps the bottles upright so it won't fall over and crush other items in the bag....Works great !! Also; each bag has a heavy cardboard type bottom that is very strong and keeps bags upright on your car seat or in trunk. The bag's fabric is very lightweight but strong and rugged. I use them for everything and they are very durable.
A Great purchase for me--I will be ordering more for myself and as gifts.

I purchased these bags to replace similar ones from the now defunct Sunflower market, and my battered Trader Joe's bags. Although I prefer canvas for their strength, the totes are comparable substitutes.

I'm very happy with the grocery totes. They hold double the amount of a plastic bag. The clerks and shoppers always ask where I got them. The soda corner holders are great and nothing falls over. I bought 8 and am going to get more for family to use!

Go green! These bags do the job. They are very handy for bottles, as the bottles stand up in the four corners, and resist falling over. The bags seem to be about the right size too. You will be amazed at just how many groceries they hold, and they fold flat for storage. I keep mine under the car seat for any unexpected trips to the store!

These bags are solid for the price, and the bottle pocket is a nice touch. I have not actually used them myself so I can't evaluate how durable they are.
The one thing I would mention is that they are made of a woven polyester material; I had the impression they were more like canvas, which is why I bought them (plan was to have the kids apply fabric paint to create Mother's Day presents for the grandmas). As it turned out, they worked OK but not great for that purpose; the fabric markers looked terrible, but glitter fabric paint worked OK.
Thought I'd mention it in a review so that other crafty sorts could get a clear idea what they were purchasing.
