I bought these bags to keep in my trunk. OM goodness!! They are so right for anything you need to carry. I have carried 2 liter bottles, used it as an overnight bag..just about anything!!!

I have 9 of these things! They are roomy and sturdy right up until you need to wash them. After that, they are small and start to fray. I was excited when I first received them, but now I am rather disappointed. It didn't matter if they were dried in the dryer or not. I washed some and hung them to dry and they still shrunk and wrinkled and started to tatter after a couple uses. Then I washed and dried some in the dryer and the result was the same! I would have to say now that I do not recommend this product.

I am hooked on these bags! They can fit far more than one would think and I LOVE the long handles on them. I can carry all 6 of these bags in from my car because the long handles allow me to load 3 on each shoulder and then walk into my house. It leaves me with free hands so I can unlock my front door as well. I do not recommend putting these in the dryer. They may have washing instructions that say that (?), I didn't look, but one of my bags that I washed shrunk to half the size!!! So if you wash it, stick to hang drying it!

Once again I found myself wondering if these 6 canvas bags were worth 29.95 plus shipping. I don't like using plastic bags, they are made from petro by-products and are not good for our planet. I had in the past found myself close to buying the bags at Meijers and Wal-Mart for 99 cents each but never really liked them (they are too small and made from plastic and they really don't look that sturdy. After reading all the reviews here on Amazon I decided to take the plunge and I must say, I LOVE THESE BAGS! They are very stong and can hold 3 times the amount of groceries a regular plastic bag can hold. They are made in such a way they have a "flat bottom" on the bags and they sit up in the trunk of a car like the old style paper bags grocery stores use to use all the time. My family use to go to the grocery store and we would fill 10-15 plastic bags every week, these 6 bags will hold the same amount of groceries that those bags once held. The only time I now use plastic bags is for meat products I purchase, I have the cashier put all meat products in one bag (these bags are too nice to get blood on them IMHO...A great buy, would do it again in a heartbeat.
