I've had these things for only a few weeks and I've used them a lot. Of course I bought these during the Christmas time sale and got the bright green and yeah, they are ugly. I don't really care. The looks go from scorn to jealousy.
I get milk delivery to the house and use this to bring everything in all at once instead of two or three trips from the porch to the fridge. I also use it to get my mail. We have those community mail boxes so I have to walk down the street and I've dropped pieces of mail more than once.
When folded up these things are small and take up very little space. So much more convenient than those store bags that are huge and take up cart space. The baggers have so far been alright with these. They open fairly wide so they can place items in it with relative ease.
Besides the price, I have one complaint. The bags that these come in are not attached. I can see that it would be very easy to lose them over time. So far, when I've gone to the store I've taken them out of the small bags and put them into one baggu and carried that.
If the price doesn't make you scream in fear I would say go ahead and buy these.

Yes, they're not cheap. But most reusable bags you can't keep in your purse all the time so when you're in a store you have them! I keep 2 in my purse all the time and they take up so little space! Other bags I'd have to carry into stores separately.
I can pack multiple cans of groceries in them with no problem. And I also like that I can carry the bag over my shoulder if it's not super full.
The only problem I've had with them after a few years of use is I should have 6 but can only find 2. :(
That's where the cost comes into play, but I'm still going to buy some more.

I have both, and I like the envirosax better than baggu--envirosax handles are at a better angle, they carry more items more securely, and they roll up and snap within themselves for easier storage (the small individual stuff sacks the baggu bags come with are a pain).

Last year, I purchased a set of these for all of the women in my family, including myself. I am amazed at how many things I can shove into each bag, and they never seem to be too full - nothing falls out and the handles don't hurt. I know these are something great, however, because I have had 5 different grocery baggers compliment me on them - these folks see every kind of reusable bag imaginable, and they seem to love these.

I've really enjoyed these bags. They are very roomy, light and surprisingly strong. I love the colors (I got the lavender) because they make these bags stand apart from the standard canvas grocery store bags. My only complaint is that the pouch they are supposed to pack back into is not attached and almost invariably has been immediately misplaced. I use these for more than groceries though. I use them to cart things back and forth to work, and they are perfect to take to stores that DON'T provide bags: Sam's Club, Aldi or IKEA!
