I researched all the bags out there,and these are the ones I bought. They are a great size. Heavy duty, great handle. I put some I bought in my van and my husband's car. He has already used them and thinks they are great. He said that alot more people are using recycled bags in the grocery store. I haven't washed them yet, but from the other reviews they seem to do good. It's our way of doing something for the planet!

I do like these bags. They work well, and four of them are just about perfect for grocery shopping for a family of four. The long handle is great, and the construction is good quality. My only complaints are; 1., the price. They're pretty expensive for a bag. I found after I purchased them that they're more reasonably priced on the manufacturers website, and they often have shipping deals. My other complaint is major. The first time I washed the bags, they shrunk to about half the size, and I did NOT put them in the dryer. I liked them much better before I washed them. That said, they do the job and I like that they're fair wage. From now on, I'll buy them direct from the manufacturer and not wash them until I absolutely have to.

This is a great shopping bag. Purchased four, but so far have only ever filled three in one shopping trip. They are plenty roomy, and the canvas is sturdy as are the handles. I also love that one bag holds what about three plastic shopping bags used to ... not only am I reducing the need for using those plastic bags, but it's a whole lot easier to bring the groceries in from the car!

I don't normally leave reviews for items, but I absolutely love these bags. They are large enough that I was able to fit one gallon of milk, one gallon of juice, plus some small fruits and snacks in one bag! Like if that wasn't enough, the bag was sturdy enough that I was able to hold it by the handles without any concern of it falling apart. I purchased 4 and that has been sufficient enough for all my groceries (family of 4). My only problem now is remembering to bring them inside the store with me all the time...

This is a terrific product. I bought four of them to use primarily for grocery shopping, and every time I use them, someone comments favorably about them. They are roomy, (the largest I could find online) and sturdy and well-made. And I love that they're Fair Price, Fair Trade. It makes me feel that I'm doing something for those who make them as well as a positive mark on the environment.
I recommend them heartily to anyone concerned with the planet who loves to find a product that's everything the manufacturers claim it to be!
